This is very important for you to understand. If you are in the mindset of not wanting to workout and it feels like a chore then it is not likely that you will achieve the results that you are after. I have a photo on my vision board of my perfect body.
What I do is I say to myself that I am my perfect body and see it in my mind. Everything that happens on the outside world whether it be the foods you consume or the thoughts that you think is a reflection of what you have in your mind first. The light bulb didn't just appear, Edison (maybe Tesla helped with this) thought of the idea in his mind first and then it came out in the physical world. Same thing goes for all of the great thinkers of the past, they had a vision and they stuck to that vision in their mind and did not let anything or anyone distract them from it. It would be better for you to focus on what you do want, not what you don't want. See yourself at the end result the final product and your actions will start attracting you to the things that are going to get you to your goal.
Life has become about efficiency
I love to find ways to do things in less time. The area of exercise is the one that has been the most exciting one to change. Exercise was the primary area of my wellness regimen for many years (about 14). I worked out 6-7 days per week. Teaching aerobics sometimes 3 classes a day, running, doing weights, riding bike, playing tennis, you name it anything I could possible do to keep moving so that I could eat whatever I wanted.
Out with the Old in with the New
Certain forms of exercise are only necessary when you are over burdening your body with unnecessary stress from the incorrect nutrition and high levels of stress. I work out less today than at any other time in my adult life but have seen the most dramatic effects, all due to a change in my food lifestyle, even though we have been told that as you get "older" you start to gain weight, that it is just a part of life, this is not the case for me and many individuals who are awakening to the realization of real nutrition and the power of the mind.
You are just like any other machine, garbage in - garbage out
We fuel our cars with the best gas, we change the oil when they tell us to, change the spark plugs, put air in the tires, replace hoses and filters. So this is all we need to do to our machinery as well. Keep it well lubricated with the highest quality oils, the food is the gas that keeps you running. Why would you spend $50 to $100 a week on your car but not on the quality of the food that you nourish your body with? It's all about reconditioning. Recognize that your body is one of THE most important things in your life and that the fuel you run on should be of the highest quality possible and watch things change. Now this does not mean for you to buy everything organic just because it says it organic. A cookie is a cookie is a cookie (unless it's a raw cookie) it does not nourish the body in any way what so ever SO KEEP IT OUT as often as possible!! There is a time and a place for it don't get me wrong and I do have these things on occasions, as you should too.
The 80/20 Rule
So get out there and find what you feel good about but don't overwork your body. I go by the 80/20 rule which is 80% of my health is based on nutrition and 20% is based on fitness. You will spend more time eating in a day than working out (unless you are a professional athlete). So make it more about the nutrients then spending long periods of time working out and you will see a dramatic difference.

I know that there are a lot of people who focus a lot of their energy into the cardiovascular area but this is just one area, there needs to be a balance and this system I utilize incorporates all areas.
