I like many others are on the bandwagon of learning how to age gracefully. So as I have been searching for ways to do this I came across Dr. Josefina Monasterio, who has defied the definition that our culture has placed on aging.
She is author of Vibrant at Any Age, a Bodybuilding Champion, a TV Host, a Public Speaker, a Wellness and Life Coach and is 72 Years Young!!!!!
She has an amazing spirit which is refreshing to see. It gives me and others encouragement to know that our future is not predetermined by what society has told us.
I had the pleasure of interviewing her about what she has done to age so gracefully.

As she says in the interview, you have to learn how to tune in to what is going to work for you. The most important thing is to keep all of your "muscles" working so to speak because if you don't use it you loose it. This includes all areas of mind, body, as well as the spirit. If you don't work on all three areas, you will not have a truly healthy life. Remember that life is your journey and you get to constantly fine tune and revise things in life to fit YOUR needs, not someone else's.
So no matter what age you are, the time to start is NOW. She didn't start her bodybuilding career until she was 59 year of age, and look at her now. She is still wondering how she can improve and get better, because constant and never ending improvement is what life is truly about.
