This plant based salad recipe is pretty simple, It has a lot of flavor and to me it is pretty hearty.
The best way to cook your beans is in a crockpot overnight. I put it on auto-shift (mine is 19 years old). You could also put them on in the morning on high but you have to make sure you put in enough water for this to work if you are leaving for the day. I add enough water to to have about three- four inches of water over the beans.
The best thing about this type of salad is that all of your sauces become your salad dressing. They are also items that you can use for other dishes or just dip them with some veggies or crackers.
And for those of you who don't want it as just a salad you can place it on top of some sprouted corn tortillas.
